Deep Cuts are the true gems that are found later in an album, b-sides, rarely if ever played on the radio.
We love the classic anthems and the radio hits of board gaming, but we hold a special place in our hearts for those "deep cuts." Games that are sufficiently obscure and opaque, so that they require some effort on the part of the participants to get into. However, those that do are well rewarded with some of the best experiences in gaming.
In this panel we discuss what makes these games great; their unique themes and mechanics, personal dynamics and historical influences, and their cultural importance on the gaming zeitgeist.
