Wargaming: Gaming for National Security

Wargaming is more than a hobby. Gaming is used every day across the Department of Defense for education, training, and analysis. Wargaming can range from virtual environments such as VBS 3, to complex models, to physical sand table combat with minis, to roleplay-based crisis exercises. These should sound familiar as they share heritage and techniques with games many people outside of the DoD play. Join us to learn more about the world of professional wargaming and how it relates to your games.
