A very special scavenger hunt we set up just for you. For the first time at PAX Unplugged, we’ve set up spots throughout the show that you can scan for games, digital trophies, photos ops, and the chance to win cool prizes. This is a great live action adventure to take part in, and you may even make friends while you’re searching for the next code to scan. If you’ve been to PAX East or West, you may have seen this before. 

Activate your badge via PAX Nav – you must have your badge to do this!  

Activation can also be done online here, but you will need to connect your badge to your mobile app, since you can’t play XP outside the app. 

Download PAX Nav

Activate using the prompt in the mobile app (either when it pops up on first open, or under the interact tab)

Look for one of the scan stations around the show signified by a PAX XP logo

Use the camera within the mobile app (under Interact > PAX XP scanner) to scan the QR code at the station

Follow the prompts on screen to get your trophy – could be a game, a story, or something else entirely!

Unlock all 10 stops for a chance to win prizes!

Look for the 10-digit code on the back of your badge, directly underneath the QR code.

Follow the “I’ve already registered” prompts when you get to badge activation in the PAX Nav app. You’ll enter in the email address you used when you activated your badge in outside the mobile app, and this will generate a unique code sent to your email. Enter this code in when you’re instructed to and you’re ready to go!

First check your spam folder and look for an email from [email protected]. If you’re still not seeing the confirmation email, you’ll need to visit the Registration desk in the Grand Hall and ask to speak with a manager for help with badge activation. (Please note that this email address is not monitored, so please don’t reply to it.)

There’s an option to add kids badges directly during the badge activation process. If you missed that, you’ll need to visit the Registration desk in the Grand Hall and ask to speak with a manager for help with badge activation.

No, each device / app login can only support one person playing.
