RPGS
Nestled away from the noise of the floor, RPGs are played across an entire wing of smaller rooms more appropriate for the storytelling and theatrics of tabletop roleplaying games.
PAX's RPG schedule is built in partnership with our exhibitors and several community groups: Baldman Games (D&D), Gehenna Gaming and Lurking Fears (Horror RPGs), Games on Demand (Indie RPGs and story games), and the Alexandria RPG Library. If you're looking to get involved, reach out to these groups and offer your services as a GM!
For those wanting to run a more casual game, PAX offers the Community Game Scheduler, hosted on RPG Geek. Here, you can reserve an RPG Freeplay table and make plans to play with other PAX attendees: https://rpggeek.com/geeklist/341424/pax-unplugged-2024-rpg-freeplay-community-game-sch
Registration methods for RPG sessions vary, so please read all event descriptions in full!
Some events offer pre-registration, with links in their event descriptions. Others will conduct registration during PAX, via the PAX Nav app. If you'd rather play it by ear, we also have RPG events with no registration required, though they are first-come first-served at the posted times.
Didn't get into the game you wanted? There may still be hope. All of our RPG rooms have standby queues to fill vacant seats. Come on by to try for a seat at the next available table.
