RPGS
Nestled away from the noise of the floor, RPGs are played across an entire wing of smaller rooms more appropriate for the storytelling and theatrics of tabletop roleplaying games. However, we have added a few tables in the main gaming hall for those of us that thrive in the PAX energy; hosted by Baldman Games (D&D), Paizo (Pathfinder/Starfinder), and EDGE Studio (Star Wars, Arkham Horror, and more).
PAX's RPG schedule is built alongside our exhibitors and several community groups: Baldman Games (D&D), Lurking Fears (Horror RPGs), Games on Demand (Indie RPGs and story games), and the Alexandria RPG Library. If you're looking to get involved, reach out to these groups and offer your services as a GM, and keep a lookout for GM applications that may appear on this page as we get closer to show time.
Registration methods for RPG sessions vary, so please read all event descriptions in full!
Some events offer pre-registration, with links in their event descriptions. Others will conduct registration during PAX, via the PAX Nav app. If you'd rather play it by ear, we also have RPG events with no registration required, though they are first-come first-served at the posted times.
RPG FREEPLAY - COMMUNITY GAMES
Daily schedule entry at 10AM to end of day
Want to schedule an RPG to play with other PAX attendees? Take advantage of the open "RPG Freeplay" tables in PAX's RPG Library (Room 108). The RPG Community Games Scheduler is available for those who like to plan ahead.
If you post a game you'd like to run, we'll even reserve a table for you. It's like calling ahead at a restaurant! If you're just looking to play, comment on the game listings to reserve your seat at the table.
Game scheduling is available online through Nov 17th. After that, please head downstairs to Level 1 to RPG HQ (Room 108) for more details on how to join or schedule additional games.
