SOCIAL DEDUCTION GAMES
Just when you thought you had everyone figured out - bam. Your sister-in-law turned out to be the traitor.
It takes cunning and charisma, some misdirection and maybe a few little white lies to find yourself in the Deception Zone, an area at PAX where you can’t trust anyone - maybe even yourself. Play games with large groups of people where hiding in plain sight is exactly the right move. Expect to see games like Werewolf, Coup, Blood on the Clocktower, Two Rooms and a Boom, and even the chance to experience the overseas sensation, Jubensha: a live play murder mystery with its own dedicated room! Play with as few as 6 players, or jump into a game with 30-50 players!
DECEPTION ZONE
The only thing better than fooling your friends is fooling a group of complete strangers. The Deception Zone in Room 119 hosts a variety of social deduction and deception games all weekend long, featuring Blood on the Clocktower and more. Seats are reserved through registration tickets, available in-person each morning at the Deception Zone.
JUBENSHA
We’ve got a room dedicated to the new murder mystery live play sensation out of China. This genre became popular in China in the late 2010s and has been described as a “mix of Cluedo, Werewolf and LARP”. KMS Games is flying all the way from Singapore to run these special events, check out the details here.
